Newbies
Going to a gym can be an intimidating experience, in spite of those fun cozy commercials, geared to make training look fun, with all those smiling, happy girls in spandex, dancing and jumping about.
If you are overweight and out of shape that makes you feel like you will look ridiculous. That you don’t belong and cannot fit in. If you have never gone to a gym or worked withweights, to a newbie, the idea of weight training is intimidating.
A personal trainer will assist you in your entry into the world of weight lifting.
A good trainer should be a coach, a motivator. More than a rep counter and a token to be seenwith or a buddy to hang out with.
Problem is that there are so many trainers to choose from. So many who are less thaneffective. Making a good decision is paramount.
First you must realize that weight training is work. Anyone who tells you otherwise isbeing deceitful or unknowledgeable.
Yes it can be a fun experience but it is work non the less. Problem is, is that too manytrainers try to substitute hard work with exercises which are not effective but make their clientsbelieve that they are having a great time doing something productive. Real work cannot be re-invented.
Our bodies were meant to do work. Physical work.
The reason that so many Americans are out of shape is due to the lack of real work in their dailylives. Yes I know you run around after your children, and clean your house, garden, walk abouton your job....blah blah blah. Point is that you are not doing real physical work that willstrengthen your body.
Oh, did I say a bad word. I said “strengthen”. Now you are saying, “I don’t want to bestrong. She is not a trainer for me. Being strong will make me look like a football player” Thequestion I ask is why are you afraid of being strong. Do you want to be weak, feeble and frail. Physical strength means that you have the ability to do necessary work, like picking up yoursmall children, carrying in the groceries, playing tennis or golf, enjoying life. A strong body is anattractive, healthy body. No you won’t become a beast but there is nothing wrong with beingstrong and having a body comprised of lean muscle and less fat..
That’s my job. I put my clients on a training routine where they will work and get results.
Does this concept scare you.
Does this make you want to leave my website and not want to contact me for a freeconsultation.
Does the idea of actually doing some work for 45-60 minutes 2-3 days per week scareyou so much that you would rather hire Buffy the Fitness Princes or GQ Chuck who is Mr.Sensitive or just sit home on your lazy out of shape butt.
Or are you intrigued and feel ready for the challenge to actually change your body andfeel good about yourself. You are ready, you just didn’t know that until now.
If you participate in sports or currently working now is the time to improve your sportsperformance and tiemme to upgrade your training .

Still not convinced. How old are you now. Give some thought of how you will look andpreform physically as you age. When you reach 40 will you be crying over the fact that you oncelooked great when you were 20. When you turn 55 will people look at you and think you are inearly 40s. When you reach 70 will you still be spry or will you be all hunched over and need awalker.
Hey the choice is yours to make. Make the deposit in your account now or have a deficitlater.
Stop making excuses that you don’t have the time.
Excuses are easy to make. You can always find one, invent one or find someone that willaffirm your excuse for not weight training.
The hard part is actually taking that first step to call me and then actually showing up forthe consultation and your first work out. After that each session becomes easier and lessdistasteful.
You will actually like the hard work.
Take action today. Life is short. Live it well.

Many call this dinosaur training.
A brief summary:
To seduce more people into gyms, today’s gyms have been turned into commercially correctinstitutions. The environment is non threatening. The workouts are non threatening. Members are not allowed to work hard. Working hard scares other members in the gym. Does this make iteffective. No. This is the present mind set in many gyms and by many trainers. It’s all about thedollars not the physical end results. To get you in, take your dollars, get you out. Results bedamned. aAnd you, the un client , who relies on others being truthful, get the gbig leie.
It’s a shame that gimmicks and myths must be employed to get you off your lazy ass into the gym.
I will not deceive you with gimmicks, ploys. I deal in truths, based on facts and on over 15 yearsof experience. I don’t dress in spandex or in Buffy wear.
I wear what is comfortable and enables me to work. I wear sweat pants and t-shirts.
I encourage my clients to dress in what they feel good wearing.
We are there to Work not to impress others with our wardrobe. Impressing others is somethingyou do outside the gym. Your work in the gym enables you to do so.
Does that Scare you.
Does it Scare you that you can be successful in reaching your goal of achieving a great body.
If working hard, reaching for your potential Scares you, than I’m not the trainer for you.
But if you are ready to be challenged, to learn, to make positive changes then you are ready to getwith the program that I offer.
